soccer. kind of.

some girls from my building and i decided we wanted to play soccer one day and seeing as we've been told we can't play in the hall of our dorm any more we went outside to play. this is what insued:

friday night

we decided to dress up and have a nice dinner at my friend JJ's house. i provided the sparkling cider. the only items i bought at walmart that day were awkwardly shaped and i was having trouble holding them and jenn thought it was funny so she took a picture.

after dinner some of us came back to my common room and i suggested that we build a fort. so we did.

so what do you do in a fort with a TV? watch a movie duh.

MLK weekend

we had monday of school so some friends and i decided to go to the MLK parade downtown. so i got up monday morning at about 10 and checked the weather and on my computer and it said: currently 30 degrees, feels like 22.

awesome.
so i put on leggings, tall socks, warm fuzzy socks, jeans, boots, a tank top, a sweater, a coat, a scarf, and mittens. and i was still pretty cold. but it was still really fun

here comes the parade

this is the mayor of wilmington. prior to his arrival in the parade, other floats had been throwing out candy so he felt like he needed to do something equally as awesome. so he danced. hes not actually waving in this picture. but his efforts were only responded to with shouts of "WE ONLY RESPOND TO CANDY" and "YOUR MOVES ARE NOT AS SWEET AS CANDY"

ALSO in the past week i have managed to watch all of these movies:

new semester, new fish

i bought 2 fish when i got back to wilmington they look pretty much the same except for 2 minor differences. also, only one of them has been named thus far.

this is beaker. he is smaller than the other fish, difference #1.

i named him beaker because is face reminds me of beaker from the muppets (i know you can't see his face in this picture but trust me, he does)

this is the fish with no name which brings us to difference #2. this fish only has one eye.
