Rock Band

This is an account of the wierdest 24 hour period of my life.
So there is this video game called Rock Band that a lot of people that I know are really good at. If you know what Guitar Hero is, its very similar to that, only this version includes not only guitar but bass, drums, and singing. Well my friend Scott heard about a Rock Band tournament in Goldsboro, near his hometown. Well Scott is amazing at bass and he has a friend who is really good at guitar, our friend Nathan Snell is amazing at drums, and Nathan Storey is awesome at singing. (Yes there are 2 Nathans in this story. Let me help you out by saying if I am referring to Nathan Snell, I will use his full name. If I'm referring to Nathan Storey, I'll just say Nathan. Got it?) So anyway, they entered the tournament which was held at a video game conference and the girls decided to go as well to be their cheering section. So all of us caravaned up to Scott's house Friday night, spent the night, and then went to the competition the next day.

We made signs

Chillin' at Scott's house (yes they bought rediculous stuff to wear for the competition, note plaid hat and white sweatband)

Scott and Alicia in line the next day waiting for the tournament to start
still waiting. judging by our faces you can definately tell we are all enthralled in what whoever is speaking to us has to say haha

this is what we call a game face (also notice a fraction of the line of nerds in the background)

our band in their spectacular outfits, preparing to rock.

the kids of the guy hosting it wanted to play so stacy sung with them

nathan and i at the gas station, our last pit stop before rolling out. (btw, kathy larson saw this picture and knew exactly which gas station it was because its her hometown and the town is that small)

rollin' out with our caravan of black vehicles
