"The Challenge" ...alright

For the past couple weeks my freshman seminar teacher has been on us to make sure we got our release forms signed for this ropes course we were going to be doing in class. my teacher emailed me like the day before saying there was a problem with mine and i needed to bring another one to class the next day. so i scrambled to get one and brought it to class. so we go to the challenge course and as it turns out at no point were any of us more than about a foot off the ground. a lot of the stuff they made us do was really stupid but luckily everyone in that class are all friends and everyone gets along really well and a lot of us are kind of crazy so it made it fun.

our dumb stretches

a game called "train wreck"

sitting on logs in a circle...

there was a line of the little stumps that we couldn't pass and we had to get the keys off of a stump a little ways away. we had a short board, a long board, and a piece of rope. this is the point where we thought it would be a good idea to tie the two boards together...

this is everyone looking confused after the tie-them-together plan failed

they said they would stop us if we were about to do something unsafe. this is the point where they stopped us.

success

another game

the group

we messed with people when they were wearing blindfolds and they didn't know it haha

everyone paired up and one partner went in a rope maze blindfolded and their partners had to stand far away and guide them out... all at the same time. here is my partner hannah. i told her just to follow the rope because everyone was screaming and it was easy and it worked

he was the last one so everyone started screaming different things at him because it was fun. so he got really confused and just chilled by this tree.

there was a mini ropes course like 3 inches off the ground and all 16 of us had to get across and we could only touch the ground 16 times total for everyone or we had to start over.

the last part was this log that was like 6 inches off the ground but it was really unsteady and we quickly discovered that crawling like you see here didn't work.

so we got 2 tall boys to hold the wire and stand there so they were really steady and we all just used them to get across.

we finnished on the first try with only one touch left.
