Midnite Madness

tonight was midnite madness at uncw which means its the start of the preseason for dub basketball, which is kind of a big deal because we don't have football. so they have basically a giant pep rally and people go crazy. belk (my building) all wore black and painted our bodies teal.

they have trask treck on midnite madness night which is everyone starts at the back of campus (around the wagoner area) and walks with the basketball team to the front of campus where trask colliseum is. as they go people come out of the buildings and join them so the group just gets bigger and bigger as it goes. there were kind of 2 groups this year one that went down chancelers walk and the other one that came by the dorms so we could just come out of our dorms if we wanted. basically the whole school does it.

sammy c. hawk came through on a golf cart. anyone who knows how afraid i am of dressed up mascots like this can appreciate how near to him i had to be to take a picture this up close.
